2. Kurz gesagt

12. Deine Rechte

Du hast das Recht auf Auskunft, Berichtigung, Löschung, Einschränkung, Datenübertragbarkeit und Widerspruch (Art. 15–21 DSGVO) sowie auf Beschwerde bei einer Datenschutz-Aufsichtsbehörde (Art. 77 DSGVO). Schreib uns an info@reedify.de.

2. In short

3. Hosting and server logs

The website is hosted by All-Inkl. When you visit, the web server processes technically necessary connection data such as IP address, time and requested address. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (secure operation).

4. Playing as a guest

On first start the server creates a random player ID. It stores your player name, your progress (profile, inventory, currencies) and your match, duel and expedition results. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (providing the game).

5. Account and email (double opt-in)

For an account we store email address, player name, language, country, time and version of your consent, invitation code and time of last activity. You receive a confirmation email; the account only becomes active after you click the link or enter the code.

6. IP hash and abuse protection

The API does not store IP addresses in clear text but a keyed hash (HMAC). It is used to limit requests and emails and to detect multiple accounts in invitations. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

We determine your country without an external service from server information, a local list or the browser language, to preselect the language.

7. Invitations

We store who invited whom, the time and the status. So that an address triggers a reward only once, a permanent keyed hash (HMAC) of your normalised email address stays in the invitation list if you were invited; it remains even after your account is deleted. The address cannot readily be derived from it. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (preventing reward abuse).

8. Chat, clans and public display

Chat messages (text, name, channel, time) are visible to others. The latest 2000 messages per channel are kept. Reports of messages are stored with their reason so an admin can review them. Player name, badges, leaderboard values and clan membership are visible to other players. Do not share personal data in chat.

9. Browser storage (localStorage)

The game stores on your device: player ID and access token (aow.player), settings (aow.settings), invitation code (aow.ref), tutorial status (aow.tutorial) and muted chat names (aow.chat.muted). As an installed web app, a service worker keeps the game files in the browser cache. This is required for the service you requested (§ 25(2) TDDDG). You can delete this data in your browser; without an account your progress can no longer be reached afterwards.

10. Deletion and access in the game

In the “Account” section you can export your data as a file and delete your account. On deletion we remove account, profile, results, gem ledger and confirmation data. Your name in chat and duels is replaced by “Gelöscht” (deleted). Only the following remains:

11. Disclosure

We do not sell data. The only recipient is the host as a technical service provider, as far as necessary for operation. Payment features are not active during the beta.

12. Your rights

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability and objection (Art. 15–21 GDPR) and to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR). Write to info@reedify.de.
